"Chris and I met as co-counsel for the same clients about 10 years ago. I am a certified bankruptcy specialist and my practice is almost exclusively in that area. Chris, of course, has a much broader practice area than mine and this proved invaluable to me and our mutual clients. In a word, Chris gets it done. He rolls up his sleeves and does the work. Go to the courthouse and massage through a filing with a reluctant clerk? Chris can do that. Put together a complicated motion and argue it for an hour in Court with intelligence and clarity and passion? Chris can do that; I was there in Court with him. Diplomatically coordinate with hesitant Sheriff's deputies in a very tricky real property sale to collect on a judgment and see that sale through? Chris did that without fuss or hassle. Bring calm and reason to a difficult settlement conference that had not gone well before he was involved? I was there and saw it happen. I do not hesitate in calling Chris an excellent lawyer and recommending him as an advocate and as legal counsel."

"Chris is a consummate professional attorney with very high ethical standards. He helped me with a Labor Law situation and provided me with very sound counsel and advice. Chris' understanding of the law and the legal system allows him to cut to the chase. He can tell you how a court or arbiter might interpret a contract or evidence and give you a very balanced "real world" insight into the likely outcome. His ethical standard is refreshing. He is not out to just get into court to make money but gives you a balanced perspective. Chris actually saved me time and money and kept me from pursuing a suit out of my "passion for the situation". With Chris' help, I was able to negotiate my way to an equitable compromise that kept the atmosphere amicable. I would highly recommend Chris as a Legal Counselor and Attorney!"
What a pleasure it is to know Christopher Lewi

"What a pleasure it is to know Christopher Lewi. After interviewing several attorneys for a rather sticky real estate issue with my neighbors, I was referred to Christopher Lewi by attorneys specialized in a different field of law. Pretty good to have attorneys recommend an attorney. Christopher spent time with me acquainting himself with my predicament, but not just from his office. He visited my property to see for himself. A real hands-on approach. After taking on my case, Christopher did his research thoroughly and professionally. If I needed to get in touch with him, there was no wait. Always a swift response. But, all this aside, he won my case. This he accomplished in a down -to- earth friendly way. After the trial, I walked to the parking lot with Christopher and the opposing attorney, chatting in an amicable manner. And, I thought to myself, "what a pleasure it is to know Christopher Lewi."."
Mr. Lewi Was Honest, Straight-forward and Very Communicative

"Even though I only wanted to hear that my case was a slam dunk as a plaintiff, Mr. Lewi gave me all the possible outcomes. He wanted me to know what I was in for- no surprises. I felt he was very knowledgeable, and I had confidence in him. My case was somewhat simple, around a roofing job gone bad, and exposure to really bad fumes. I am finally feeling like I got justice- my day in court. Mr. Lewi did a great job and was very prepared. I won! One thing where he is different from other attorneys I've either used or have seen, is that he seemed to really care about the case. I was impressed with that. Even if I asked what might have been a dumb question, he responded quickly and with respect. Not that I want to hire an attorney again, but if I did, I would definitely return to Mr. Lewi."

"I have known Chris for nearly 20 years. In my estate planning and probate practice, I mainly handle transactional and unopposed matters. Sometimes, the cases involve a dispute that goes to litigation. These disputes almost always involve feuding family members and as a result can carry a heavy emotional charge. I have referred several of my clients to Chris to handle their probate litigation. Chris always does the job with high skill, excellent instincts and the ability to get the parties to reach agreement. In one case, 2 of the brothers could not get along over their father's estate and it seemed that every single piece of property was the subject of potentially heavy litigation and repetitive rounds of court hearings. One of the brothers represented himself and this always makes things harder yet. The Court was losing its patience and things threatened to spiral away from the client. In a case I was certain would never settle, Chris stayed with it, coordinated a mediation and got the case settled, which was the best result for the client. In another case where the trustee had mishandled trust funds to the damage of the client -- a charitable organization that had been named as a beneficiary of the trust -- Chris handled the appeal, resulting in the judgment in favor of the client being affirmed. Chris then made sure that the client collected on the judgment, a six-figure recovery. A very good result. In yet another probate case I referred to him, Chris represented another charity that had also been named as a trust beneficiary. In a very hotly contested case that went all the way to trial and judgment, Chris was part of the team that proved the defendant had fraudulently transferred control of a million dollar trust to himself and had essentially stolen many hundreds of thousands of dollars from the trust. That case too resulted in a good recovery for the client. I highly recommend Chris as an experienced advocate and legal counsel; it's a bonus that his rates are reasonable."
